WorldSkills Asia Taipei 2025

The WorldSkills Asia Taipei 2025 international skills championship was held on 27–29 November 2025 in Taipei, Chinese Taipei. Competition ran daily from 09:00 to 18:00. Team Uzbekistan competed in 16 skills: Mechanical Engineering CAD, CNC Turning, Autobody Repair, Electronics, Web Technologies, Electrical Installations, Plastering and Drywall Systems, Painting and Decorating (exhibition skill), Beauty Therapy, Automobile Technology, Cooking, Car Painting, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Graphic Design Technology, Health and Social Care, and Industrial Design Technology. Twenty-nine countries took part. The delegation flew out of Tashkent on 24 November; on 26 November members were introduced to the workstations, the equipment and the safety requirements, and took part in training sessions based on international standards. Uzbekistan’s presence was three times larger than in 2023. The skills chosen match the needs of an export-oriented economy, and our representatives competed on equal terms with Asian leaders such as South Korea, Japan, the UAE and Chinese Taipei. The championship is an important stage in preparing for the WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 world final.

WorldSkills Asia Abu Dhabi — 2023

The WorldSkills Asia Abu Dhabi 2023 international qualifier was held on 24–30 November 2023 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Team Uzbekistan competed in five skills: Hairdressing, Health and Social Care, Plastering and Drywall Systems, Mobile Robotics and Welding. The squad was drawn from the “Ishga marhamat” monocentres, Sergeli Medical College, Knauf Gips Buxara, IT Park Uzbekistan and the Tashkent Vocational Training Centre. The team took 3rd place and a Best of Nation medal in Plastering and Drywall Systems, plus a Medallion for Excellence in Welding.
